YOGYAKARTA - Ta'aruf Forum Indonesia (Fortais), a matchmaking agency in Yogyakarta on Sunday morning (6/9) held a joint marriage ceremony which was held at the monument Tugu Pal Putih.
The wedding ceremony was chaired by the head of the religious affairs office Jetis sub-district of Yogyakarta, Harun Rashid and the prince Jaenal Sarifudin.
Completion of the consent granted, four pairs of bride of Yogyakarta and Central Java, plus seven pairs of foreign students who participated dressed Javanese style wedding, carry out carnival on the street along 200an meters and attract foreign tourists.
Chairman of the committee, Baskoro Teak Prabowo said it involves foreign students who are studying in Yogyakarta so that a more festive occasion while promoting cultural tourism.

Badari bridal couple and Arifah Murdowati say they are interested in following the marriage together because of the way they value it more special.

Obermayer Dora from Hungary, accompanied by a fellow student from the country of origin, Gondor La Szelo, said they were delighted to participate in the cultural activities.

Together Marriage event and the bridal procession attracts many tourists, one Kathy Monk of Chicago, who said in awe watching a newlywed couple on the road.

Over the past four years, forums or matchmaking Fortais has successfully brought together 3,500 married couples and help some of those who come not only from Yogyakarta but also various cities in Indonesia.
